Bagittoday breach of trust

Friday, May 20th, 2011 | by Pankaj Dwivedi against bagittoday with 1 Comment

'Bagittoday'a group buying site on internet had advertised on the net and also informed on phone that they would be supplying Rs 60,000/-(two packs of Rs30,000 each) worth of diamonds along with a mobile phone worth Rs 13,999/- against a payment of Rs 18,999/-.accordingly payment was made to them by credit card on 21st Apr(qty 1) and 22nd Apr (Qty 2).On rcvng the diamonds and getting them verified by experts it was found that the diamonds in each pack did not cost more than Rs 6,000/-(though the MRP mentioned on each pack was Rs 30,000/-).This not only amounts to breach of trust but fraud also.
Payment was also made on 24th (qty 4) for which I have asked for refund.

Orra Diamond Humiliating & Un-Professional attitude of their staff

Friday, May 20th, 2011 | by Vivek Mahajan against Orra Diamond with No Comments »

Appended below is the detailed contents of the letter I wrote to Orra Diamond on 4-5-11 about the Humiliating & Un-Professional attitude of their staff & how I was duped by them:

Dear Rosyblue / Orra,

I felt very insulted & annoyed visiting your store in Ludhiana, India by your staff Ms. Kuldeep Kaur.

My office is on the 1st floor of the same building where your showroom is located. In April 2009, first time I went to your showroom & bought a platinum ring for my wife & subsequently I was perused by another staff member Mrs. Dolly to enroll for a monthly kitty for Rs.2000.00 in my wife’s name etc.

As my wife never visited your store for kitty, I use to pay the kitty amount to Ms. Kuldeep or Mrs. Dolly. As it was not a routine practice for me, I never asked for the receipt on a good faith. 1 or 2 times I was provided the receipt at the showroom & 1 receipt was sent to my office. Total 3 receipt’s I got.

It never came in to my mind that it can be a loss to me. Once I forgot the kitty for 1 month & gave Rs.4000.00 next month to either of the one of your staff, which I clearly remember, but was never entered in their records. The payment for last 2 kitties only (Rs.4000.00) was to be paid. When my wife visited your store few months back to clear the same, was told that payment for the total 5 kitties is balance. This was a shock to me. Anyhow, I told my wife that there is no point in arguing now, as it is my mistake not to get all the receipts & maybe it is a lesson for me not to trust anyone on financial matter and would give them the total amount Rs.10,000.00 & clear the chapter.

For this purpose, I went to your store to meet Ms. Kuldeep Kaur to clear the total balance. Before starting the conversation, I noticed that she was very uncomfortable. I had a very good repo with her, as on Aug-10; I did my second purchase also. I just told her in a very healthy tone that I’ve come here to clear the total balance as per her records. Though, I have lost Rs.6000.00 in kitty account but expect you to give me a better discount in my next purchase to cover the loss. That’s all.

She immediately started speaking in a very loudly & unhealthy manner, like what do you mean that we are cheat, it is your responsibility to take receipt, & other foul words etc. I was literally taken aback. I told her that I am here to clear the total amount you have asked for & never said you anything harsh. But she seemed to be in a pre conceived notion, that she has to say these words to me anyway, whenever I visit her for the same. It was really very shocking. I just told her that the words you are saying to me were actually to be told by a customer to you. But in my case I’m giving you the total money & asking you to clear the same. But, it seems that she was not expecting such gentle behavior from me. She might’ve expecting that I would argue with her, & when I did not, she got confused & started speaking the foul language what she might’ve been rehearsing for long.

I feel very lucky that while making purchase in Aug-10, I was again being lured to enroll in a kitty & this time for Rs.10, 000.00. Which, I never opted. Otherwise, the future loss would’ve been much higher.

Anyhow, I handed over Rs.10, 000.00 to her & asked for the receipt. By hearing her raised voice, some other person of your staff came & asked me that I should go to my office & he would send the invoice & would collect the money afterwards; as the system is not working right know. And she banged the money on the table. What an attitude! It was 10:40am in the morning. Around 3:30pm I called up that gentleman (his name I dn’t know) & was told that the system is still not working. At 6pm I again called up & got the same reply. When I insisted for a confirmed reply, I was told to contact in the morning. What a reply! I feel they are doing it deliberately just to harass me & it also feels like that I’ve purchased something from a roadside vendor. Very un-professional attitude.

I would request you to pl. look in to the matter & ask them to clear the account.

It was a very humiliating experience in deed. Maybe in India, it is never paid attention to train your staff in good customer behavior / relationship etc. Ultimately, these types of instances would bring bad name to your organization & would loose customers.

Sincerely,
Vivek Mahajan

PS: I’ve written this just because of the rude behavior of your staff, not otherwise.

My experience with shopping on indiatimes.com

Friday, May 20th, 2011 | by himanshu chaturvedi against Indiatimes shopping with No Comments »

Dear Friends,
I wish to share with all of you, my experience with shopping on indiatimes.com. I refer to an order number 112963838 for MIDNIGHT EXPRESSION.
To surprise my wife on her birthday on 26th Apr 2011, i decided to do something special for her and placed an order for flowers and cakes for her to be delivered on the midnight of 25 / 26. The product detail for the ordered product clearly specify the following-
• Express Deliveries will be made on the same day including Sundays for orders received till 2 PM IST, orders received after 2pm will be delivered the next day.

• The above product will be delivered only in the cities mentioned in the list of serviceable cities in between 23:30 to 0:00 hrs midnight on the specified date. (For Example – Any Occasion on 19th, the product will be delivered on 18th Midnight)

I checked if the product would be delivered in delhi, where i reside and made the payment at 01 37h on 25th. i.e before the 1400h deadline mentioned above and hoped to surprise my wife that night with the midnight delivery of cake and flowers. I had mentioned the specified date as 26th and hoped that as mentioned above the stuff would be delivered on 25th midnight.

Nothing was delivered that night. I was embarrassed and hurt as i had not thought of a plan B to wish her in style, in fact the occasion was ruined by the calls i tried to make to indiatimes customer care at that ungodly hour, nobody responded the calls.

A recorded message on the help line asked me to send an SMS to 58888 and /or an E Mail to a particular mail id. I did both in desperation.

The Bottom line is that THE OCCASION WAS RUINED.

My wife was so upset with me that unknown to me while I was in office the next morning, she called up customer care and complained. They apologised to her and offered to send the cake right away. (imagine a half kg cake for 1000 bucks at 1000h in the morning), she refused to accept the cake at this hour hence the customer care executive agreed to cancel the order and gave her a cancellation code of 785187

Meanwhile I was in office and hoping someone would call me based on the SMS and email i had sent, and redress my grievance, but no one called. The best part starts after this:-

I called up the Customer Care at about 1300h the next day and asked them for a status of my order. (i was not yet aware that my wife had cancelled the order). I was told by the customer care exec that the order would be delivered to me on the night of 26 /27. I reminded him that as per the product details i was supposed to have got it on the night of 25 / 26, he put me on a hold and then disconnected the call.

I once again called the customer care no., this time it was picked up by a new CC exec, i had to go over the entire story once again and he too gave me the same answer, i requested him to put me through to his senior. So he put me through to one Mr Amit Kumar. I had to go over my sob story once again for Amit Kumar, who confidently told me that he had the product details of the product ordered by me in front of him and read them out to me as follows:
-
The above product will be delivered only in the cities mentioned in the list of serviceable cities in between 23:30 to 0:00 hrs midnight on the specified date.

He conveniently omitted the following details given in brackets after this line
(For Example – Any Occasion on 19th, the product will be delivered on 18th Midnight).

Since i was not in front of the net at that moment, i assumed that i had probably made a mistake in placing the order and informed Mr Amit Kumar that i would check up and get back to him.

I went on line and read the product details which said

• Express Deliveries will be made on the same day including Sundays for orders received till 2 PM IST, orders received after 2pm will be delivered the next day.

• The above product will be delivered only in the cities mentioned in the list of serviceable cities in between 23:30 to 0:00 hrs midnight on the specified date. (For Example – Any Occasion on 19th, the product will be delivered on 18th Midnight)

I was honestly upset with Amit kumar for pulling a fast one on me assuming that i was a dumb ass who could be taken for a ride. Believe me guys, you feel disgusting when you realise that guys like Amit Kumar try and insult your IQ.

I called up Mr Amit Kumar once again and this time i asked him to read out the entire statement on the product detail. Mr Amit continued to ridicule my intelligence; first he told me that to get the product on a particular day i need to place my order at least 3 days in advance. I asked him that in such a case the website should not accept my order at all. Cornered by this argument he changed his tack once again and told me that the primary requirement of the product detail mentioned that i would have a shipping time of ONE DAY and this condition was over and above everything else that is mentioned in the remaining product details. By now i was sick of hearing the lies from by Amit Kumar. I asked him if i could speak to someone senior to him. He refused to put me through to anybody else and frustratingly i disconnected the call.

I write this in such detail for all of us who trust and put faith in a reputed websites like Indiatimes and even part with our credit card details to them. However, interacting with unprofessional employees leaves a bad taste which you regret for a long time.

I’m sure its not money that counts on certain special occasions, its the service that you pay for more than anything else. However, no one can be allowed to insult you on your face and get away. I am from the armed forces and nothing hurts me more that these smart alecs who humiliate you on your face and get away.

The best part is that despite having cancelled the order (cancellation code of 785187) the next day a delivery boy comes and wakes me up at midnight and requests me to accept the flowers and cake. He informs me that he was given the order to deliver the items to my doorstep at 2100h on the 26th. I don’t know who is speaking the truth, but the organisation at indiatimes certainly looks cockeyed

So finally now that i have vented all my frustration i would only request all you guys to go to E BAY in future, those guys are far more reliable and better organised.

And Cheers to Indiatimes

Complaint in bank of baroda

Friday, April 15th, 2011 | by Awadh sharan shandilya against Bank of Baroda with 2 Comments

I did the below complaint in bank of baroda-

“In 1997 I bought 100 shares of Bank of BARODA by PUBLIC OFFER.I also received its certificate. My Reg. Folio no. is – BBE170785 and CERTIFICATE NO. is – 246159 .Distinctive no. is 0220615701 to 0220615800 .I was not informed about 2nd call money at all via any means and so I didn't pay the 2nd call money as I was not informed about it.I contacted them many times to transfer my shares into my DEMAT account.I wrot them letters in the years 2002 to fulfill the need, but they didn't reply.Again I tried to contact them in 2005 via letter and they sent a letter in return informing that my letter has been sent to the share unit of BANK of Baroda for further clarification on the issue. In 2006 I sent the original share certificate to transfer it into my Demat but they kept the original share certificate and told me that due to miscellaneous reasons all my ” NEW DRF REQUIRED AND OLD SHARES ARE FORFEITED AND RETAINED BY THE COMPANY.” Also they neither returned my money nor transfered the shares into my Demat account. Now they should either return my money back along with the interest or transfer the shares into my Demat account.”

But they replied that-

“You may please note that Bank of Baroda has forfeited all the partly paid up equity shares in June 2003 on which call money/allotment money was not paid. The Bank forfeited the Shares under the relevant Regulations as approved by Government of India by Gazette notification. The Bank observed the due process including the issuance of periodical Notices/Reminders/Forfeiture Notice including publishing a Notice in newspapers also. Moreover, the relevant Offer Document dated 27th September, 1996 at Page No.8 very clearly stated that “Failure to pay the amount as aforesaid, shall render the allotment of equity shares liable to cancellation and amount paid liable to forfeiture.”
Moreover as per norms approved by Government of India Gazette notification “Forfeiture of share extinguishes all claims against Bank with regards to forfeited shares.”
Chief Manager,
Head Office, Baroda.

I again replied that-

“Its not necessary that every individual read the newspaper in which the information mentioned by you was given. You should have sent me a call money reminder and if you have already done that than you must be having the record of when you sent that reminder. So please provide me those details from your record. Also send me copy of the government rules as mentioned by you according to which shares can be forfeited without giving any reminder for call money.I don't think there is any rule which allows shares to be forfeited without any reminder for call money.Due to this decision of your bank I have to suffer from great economic and mental tension. If I didn't want to keep those shares than Iwould have sold them at that time only when they were issued. If I would have been informed about call money than I would have paid it that time only.I am ready to pay the call money along with interest for the shares now . Kindly look over the matter and return back my shares and resolve it as soon as possible.”

The reasons given by me in this matter are true as they didn't inform me about any call money by any means. But they are not ready to accept any of the reasons stated by me.Kindly look into their records if they ever sent any reminder for call money and my shares should be freed by them and given back to me.

My experience with Naukri.com is by very bad

Friday, April 15th, 2011 | by Dheeraj against Naukri.com with No Comments »

I have availed paid services from Naukri.com for around 2565/- Rs. in Oct 2010. I have not received any confirmation from naukri.com saying that your services are being activated; they have stopped replying.
1. Gold Online Persona.
2. Resume Flash 100 Gulf Consultant.
3. Resume Display for 6 months.
4. Job mail for 6 months.
5. Resume flash to Domestic Consultant.

My experience with Naukri.com is by very bad or say it is the worst experience. It all started right from the 1st week after availing the service and still continuing the same. Below are the point of concerned:-

1. Resume Flash 100 Gulf Consultant :- I was been told that my resume will be sent to 100 Gulf consultant, which has not been done.
2. Resume Display for 6 months :- Incorrect resume displayed.
3. Job mail for 6 months :- Jobs are either expired, or not of my interest area.
4. Resume flash to Domestic Consultant :- Wrong resume flashed, I am regularly receiving call on consultant asking for some else name like Vivek, Amit, Gaurav, and from different field and that to from different fields like Taxation, IT, Software development etc which are not my area of Interest. Saying that they have received resume mail from naukri.com, stating my contact details and mail ID too in resume which nowhere belong to me.

I would rather say Management focusing on complaint received, They are just concentrating on number services sold. I would not be leaving these people untouched.

Request all the individuals who are being cheated by naukri.com, mail me at gemini_dheeraj@yahoo.com, as we as an individual can fight with them so lets get together and SUE them in court. I am having enough evidence to get back me refund and mental loss incurred to me, because of them.

Thanks
